Hello, Psoas!
I have been a heart-filled pile of muscles and lymph this weekend. So, naturally I did not lift a finger. No big Saturday mornings of culinary adventures, no manual labor or the electrical shocks that can accompany such, no carrying 40pound bags of soil or salt pellets down the rocky cliff side - aka my backyard. Despite it all, I just finished a relatively mellow peloton journey - thank you kendall - and was just doing a light cool down on my rower when my right psoas seized and almost forced my bowels and torso to explode from the inside out. I may be exaggerating…but that is exactly what it felt like! See, we’re all made of human threads. So here I am taking a moment before I sit back into my “boat” to begin a new chapter of blogging on the new website, and then, I’ll finish my cool down. To be fair, I am working out because I know my scar, lymph, hip, mesh and more are jammed. So, I believe what I am doing is timely. Heart-filled despite it all because the love has been pouring in so much this past week and weekend. You all are lovely. I feel like life is smiling down on me and am so lucky and loved. Thank you for being part of my community. You and your psoas’!
